Drew Scott and Linda Phan Are Thrilled to Expand Their Family
Life just got even sweeter for Drew Scott and his wife, Linda Phan. The dynamic duo, best known for their hit show Property Brothers, announced the arrival of their second child, a baby girl, on their website on Wednesday, June 5. This joyous addition to their family has brought a fresh wave of excitement and love into their lives.
Little Piper Rae, born on May 21, has already stolen the hearts of her parents. She joins her big brother, Parker James, who was born in May 2022. Parker, now a proud big brother, is adjusting to his new role with curiosity and enthusiasm. “He’s curious, helpful, and maybe a little jealous,” Drew shared with Drew & Jonathan. “To help him embrace this new chapter, we got him his own baby doll so he can learn what it means to take care of someone while we nurture Piper.”
The Joys (and Challenges) of Being a Girl Dad
Drew and Linda couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome a little girl into their family. “It’s actually quite funny,” Drew admitted. “I get a lot of mixed advice about being a girl dad. Some people say it’s the best thing, while others warn me to be prepared for anything. All I know is that I’m excited to experience whatever comes with Piper, whether it’s laughter, tears, or everything in between.”

Of course, as any parent knows, there are moments of hilarity along the way. Drew shared a funny parenting moment with a chuckle: “I was proud that in the past two years, Parker had never peed on me while changing him. Piper has already done it twice!” Parenthood, it seems, never fails to keep them on their toes.
The Sweet Beginnings of Their Family
Before the arrival of Parker, Drew and Linda faced their share of challenges. They were open about their struggles with infertility before conceiving their first child. “For us, the whole experience was overwhelming,” Drew recalled in a candid interview with People in April 2022. “We were trying for years, wanting to have kids but without success. It was a lack of education, not having the right support, and not surrounding ourselves with the right professionals.”
Drew has always dreamed of becoming a father, and the birth of Parker made that dream a reality. “I knew I wanted to have kids since I was a kid myself,” he said. “But then I got so busy with work and I absolutely love what I do—helping other families. However, twelve years passed by doing that, and we had sort of put starting our own family on the back burner. I’m incredibly glad we made the decision to prioritize this now, and we have the support to make it happen.”
While they haven’t shared a full photo of Piper’s face online yet, Linda and Drew did post a heartwarming picture of them holding their baby girl’s tiny hand. The image perfectly captures the tender bond they share with their newest family member.
