Ken Takes the Reins Again
Yes, folks, Ken will officially be hosting the next season of Celebrity Jeopardy! If you remember, this role was previously held by the talented Mayim Bialik in 2022. Ken stepped in as host for Season 2, and until now, there was speculation about whether he would be back for Season 3. Well, the wait is over, and Ken’s here to stay!
Of course, the announcement sparked a wave of enthusiasm among fans. The comments section on the Instagram post quickly filled with messages of support and admiration for Ken. One fan exclaimed, “Oh I’m so relieved to hear it’s Ken hosting! Yay!!!”
Another fan chimed in, saying, “He’s a terrific host, very personable, quick with his comments, funny, and, of course, super smart!” Yet another commenter added, “Honestly, the only one who should be the host after Alex. Ken is a class act man.”
The Journey So Far
Ken took over hosting duties alongside Mayim Bialik after the passing of the legendary Alex Trebek. Mayim, who is now 49, decided to step down from the show in December 2023. Since then, Ken has been the sole host, and it seems he’s been doing a fantastic job. One fan wrote, “Doing such a wonderful job!” while another commented, “If Ken is ready, I am ready.”

A Sneak Peek at the Upcoming Season
Before the season kicks off, producer Sarah Whitcomb Foss gave fans a little teaser of what to expect. During an episode of the “Inside Jeopardy” podcast, she said, “If I was describing Celebrity Jeopardy, I would say ‘great gameplay.’ And that may not be something people are used to associating with Celebrity Jeopardy, but really, it was great gameplay.”
Executive producer Michael Davies also weighed in on any potential changes to the format, saying, “Jeopardy, when this is an evenly matched game, always works.”

Ken, who has been honing his hosting skills over the past few years, has been working hard to establish himself as the leader of the show. “He’s desperate to make it work and has no intention of leaving of his own accord,” an insider revealed to Closer in August 2024. “Ken’s well aware of the noise and tittle-tattle, and privately he would acknowledge these are tough times — especially with Colin Jost coming on to host Pop Culture Jeopardy! and fans calling him awkward, which is hard to take.”
But Ken isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. “He’s insisting there’s a share of blame here. He doesn’t write the lines or pick the questions and contestants, and won’t be made a scapegoat!” the source added.
Despite some minor bumps along the way, Ken is focusing on the future. “He won’t take this treatment. He’s calling on bosses to be more supportive and warning people not to trip him up,” the insider said. “Ken doesn’t understand why viewers think this is all his fault, because it’s not. He believes others need to take responsibility. He’s done playing Mr. Nice Guy!”
