The story came out after the Prince of Darkness shared a throwback photo on social media, sparking a trip down memory lane for Kelly.
At 35 years old, Kelly took to her Instagram Stories to reminisce about a wild moment from her childhood. “OMG, this picture brings back so many memories!” she wrote alongside the vintage snapshot of her dad at 71. “When I was a kid, I decided it would be a brilliant idea to put a can of soup in the microwave right behind my dad’s head. Spoiler alert: it exploded. And boy, did I get into so much trouble!”

While Kelly may have enjoyed pulling pranks on her dad as a kid, these days, their relationship is all about love and support. When Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease earlier this year, Kelly stepped up to be there for her dad in a big way. Life During the Pandemic: Kelly Updates Fans on Ozzy's Progress
In March, Kelly gave fans an update on how Ozzy was handling his diagnosis and recovery during the coronavirus pandemic. She explained that while they were practicing social distancing, her dad was actually doing surprisingly well. “Seeing the changes after just one treatment with stem cells has been absolutely mind-blowing,” she told ET. “He’s motivated to get up, do things, and re-engage with the world. His walking and speaking have improved, and his symptoms are lessening. He’s rebuilding the muscle strength he lost after spine surgery.”
Hope for the Future: Ozzy’s Recovery Inspires the Osbourne Family
For Ozzy, who also shares children Aimee, 36, and Jack, 34, with his wife Sharon, the progress has been nothing short of miraculous. Kelly noted that her dad’s recovery has given their famous family “so much hope.” She added, “Everything is finally falling into place, and we’re incredibly grateful to the doctors who’ve helped him. The irony isn’t lost on him, though — he’s ready to get out of the house, but now the whole world is in quarantine.”
