In 1998, Savannah decided to take the LSAT, and her impressive score earned her a spot at Georgetown University Law School. It was a dream come true for her. “Georgetown was always one of my top choices,” she recalled. “I’ve always loved Washington, D.C., and politics. I even lived in a Georgetown dorm during my internship in Washington. So, I put together an application in just three weeks, and to my surprise, I got in.”
She graduated from Georgetown in 2002 and passed the Arizona Bar Exam with flying colors, scoring the highest among her peers. This led her to work as an associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. However, her heart remained tied to the world of journalism, hoping for a return to the TV screen.

Savannah’s broadcasting career took a significant turn in 2004 when she joined Court TV as a reporter and legal analyst.
