Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec's Dancing Twins
It’s a story that feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale. Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec, who met on the dance floor, are now watching their 5-year-old twins, Hudson and Haven, fall in love with dancing. In a candid interview with Closer, Kym shares how her kids have taken to the art form with open arms. “They absolutely love to dance,” she beams, speaking about her little ones' newfound passion.
But it doesn’t stop at dancing. These twins have a flair for the dramatic, and they’re equally into singing. “They’ve got quite the musical streak going on,” Kym jokes. “They’re obsessed with this thing called Kidz Bop. It’s basically kids singing popular songs like Lizzo, but they make them kid-friendly. So, we’ve had some epic dance parties at home with Kidz Bop blasting in the background.”
Hudson's Dream: Joining Kidz Bop
Kym reveals that her son, Hudson, has a big dream. “He says he wants to be in Kidz Bop one day,” she shares with a proud smile. But while the kids have their eyes set on the stage, Kym and Robert, 61, are taking a more laid-back approach. “We’re not pushing them into show business or anything like that,” Kym reassures. “We just want them to explore their interests and see where their passions lie.”

For now, the couple is encouraging their children to try their hand at everything. “We’ve got them signed up for soccer, singing, dancing, and even tennis,” Kym explains. “We’re just letting them dip their toes into all these different activities and see what sticks.”
Letting Kids Be Kids
At the end of the day, Kym and Robert want their children to enjoy their childhood. “It’s all about letting them be kids,” Kym emphasizes. “We want them to have fun, explore, and try new things without the pressure of excelling. But if they do show promise in something, we’ll certainly support them.”
She adds, “As parents, we need to give them the space to grow and discover what they truly love. Right now, it’s about letting them enjoy the journey.”
Kym's Own Creative Journey
While her kids are busy exploring their passions, Kym hasn’t been idle either. The former Dancing With the Stars pro has been diving into her own creative pursuits. “I’ve started taking singing lessons every week,” she reveals. “It’s been a lot of fun, and it’s great to have some time for myself.”
Kym also stars in Hunting Housewives, a new Lifetime film alongside NeNe Leakes and Denise Richards. “It’s been such a rewarding experience,” she gushes. “Getting back into the swing of things professionally has been amazing. It’s like I’ve found a new balance between work and family life.”

“As a mom and a wife, it’s easy to get caught up in taking care of everyone else,” Kym reflects. “But now that the kids are in school, I’ve found this beautiful balance. I can focus on work, emails, and even take time for myself. It’s been a game-changer.”

Kym last graced the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars in 2017, just before welcoming Hudson and Haven into the world in April 2018. “I’ve been out of the game for a while, and now I’m ready to dive back in,” she shares. “The kids are at an age where I feel comfortable getting back to work. I’ve missed the creativity, and this new chapter has been so fulfilling.”
Lifetime’s Hunting Housewives premieres on Saturday, March 9, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Don’t miss it!
