Let’s talk about one of country music’s most talked-about couples: Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin. These two fell head over heels for each other in what seemed like no time at all. They tied the knot back in January 2019, but fast forward to June 2024, and things got a little complicated after Brendan was caught on video dancing with a group of bachelorette partygoers in Nashville. Well, as of right now, it looks like Miranda and Brendan are still very much together, even after that little scandal. Despite the viral video showing Brendan getting a little too friendly with some ladies during a night out at Miranda’s own bar, Casa Rosa, the couple appears to be holding strong. Five years into their marriage, they're showing no signs of splitting up—at least not publicly.
One of the women from the viral video recently spoke out to In Touch, giving her side of the story. She said that Brendan was just having a good time, hanging out in the VIP section of the bar. "Earlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar," the woman explained. "We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there. We mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance."

According to the anonymous source, the group of women simply went back to enjoying their night, drinking and dancing together. "There was never anything inappropriate said between Brendan and us," she insisted. "It was all very friendly and innocent. No one thought anything of it until the video went viral."
Just a few weeks after the incident, Miranda dropped a new song titled "Alimony." Some fans couldn't help but draw a connection between the lyrics and the recent events. In the song, she sings, "I called that lawyer up in Dallas / The one who’s livin’ in that palace / So I know he’s good at winnin’ / If you think there’s somethin’ that you’re missin’ / If you start stepping out, only one thing can console me / If you’re gonna leave me in San Antone … remember the alimony." Coincidence? Maybe. But it sure got people talking.
Neither Miranda nor Brendan has addressed the scandal directly. For now, it seems like they're keeping things private and letting the dust settle. After all, everyone deserves a second chance, right?

How Did Miranda Lambert Meet Brendan McLoughlin?
It all started on the set of Good Morning America back in 2018. Miranda was there promoting her music when she crossed paths with Brendan, who was working as a police officer at the time. "We’re really best friends, honestly," Miranda said during an appearance on Bunnie XO’s podcast, "Dumb Blonde." "A girl from Lindale, Texas, and a guy from Staten Island, New York. He was a cop, and I was doing Good Morning America. We kind of crossed paths."
Miranda recalled how her bandmate, Angaleena Presley, pointed out Brendan as a "hot cop" during the event. Her security team then invited him to the show that evening. "We gave him one ticket, no plus one," she joked. "He came by himself, and we met up after the show. We just hung out and talked. It wasn’t like there was an agenda or anything. We just hit it off."

She went on to say, "He was super cool, and we kept in touch after that day. We wrote each other letters, like old-school style. We just aligned in so many ways. He comes from a law enforcement and first responder family, and our attitudes sort of match. We’re very different, but we come from the same background."
Their relationship moved quickly, and by Valentine's Day 2019, Miranda announced they'd gotten married. "I wanted to share some news," she captioned a photo of herself in a wedding gown. "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for ... me. #TheOne."
