The wildfire in Malibu has scorched over 3,000 acres, forcing around 20,000 people to evacuate their homes, according to the Independent. Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone cautioned, “Up until this point, it’s been a wind-driven fire. If the wind changes direction, we’re going to have the fire moving into new areas.”
