At 59 years old, Robin Roberts has faced her fair share of challenges, but she continues to show up for those she loves with unwavering support. “Amber’s still with her family out on the West Coast,” Robin explained. “I’m so glad I was there with her when she got the call. No one ever wants to experience the pain of losing a parent, but Amber is handling it as well as anyone could under these circumstances. She’s incredibly grateful for all the love and support pouring in from friends and family.”
Providing Space and Support for Healing
Robin went on to emphasize the importance of giving Amber the time and space she needs to grieve. “Grief doesn’t follow a schedule, so I’m letting her take all the time she needs,” Robin said. “She’s such a kind and thoughtful person. Before I came here, she sent me the sweetest little text. Originally, she planned to join me on the red carpet, but she’s exactly where she should be right now—with her family.” It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of love and understanding during life’s toughest transitions.
