When asked by Closer Weekly and other reporters whether she’d ever walk down the aisle a third time, she didn’t hesitate to say, “To the right person, if that person comes along. Yes, of course.” She then reflected on her past experiences, acknowledging that her first marriage was a rough chapter in her life. “I don’t even consider my first one a marriage—it was just a legal document,” she explained. But her second marriage, to the late Frank Gifford, was a different story. “We were friends for four years and married for almost 29. That was the real deal, and I’m not going to settle for anything less than that, that’s for sure.”
Her Journey Through Love and Loss
Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane, shall we? Kathie Lee’s first marriage was to Paul Johnson back in 1976, but it ended in 1983. Then, in 1986, she found her soulmate in Frank Gifford. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and two amazing kids—Cody, now 29, and Cassidy, 26. Unfortunately, Frank passed away in 2015, leaving a void in Kathie Lee’s life that no one can truly fill.
