It’s been less than a week since Jennifer Lopez wowed the world with her electrifying performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. But even now, she’s still beaming with pride over her daughter Emme’s unforgettable moment in the spotlight. In a candid conversation on The Tonight Show, J.Lo opened up about how proud she is of her 11-year-old daughter, who performed alongside her in front of millions of fans.
Emme's Confidence Under Pressure
When asked about Emme’s experience performing on such a massive stage, Jennifer revealed that her daughter wasn’t nervous at all. "You know what, no," she told host Jimmy Fallon with a warm smile. "She has this incredible performance gene where she doesn't let the enormity of the situation weigh on her mind. That's what you have to do when you're up there—you need to control your nerves and just go for it." J.Lo explained that her daughter's ability to stay calm and composed is something she truly admires.
A Mother-Daughter Musical Moment
During the Super Bowl halftime show, Jennifer and Emme shared an unforgettable moment as they sang "Let's Get Loud" together. The young performer also took the opportunity to belt out a few lines from Bruce Springsteen’s classic "Born in the USA." "She has this gene—it's like she feels completely comfortable up there," Jennifer added. "I think she gets excited, but it's this cute, wholesome kind of excitement. Honestly, I wish I could feel more like her sometimes."
