During an appearance at Radio Row ahead of the Super Bowl, while hosting her SiriusXM show, Jenny McCarthy, 47, revealed her concerns about Barbara Walters' wellbeing. "I've heard that she’s in a place of not doing great," McCarthy shared with Us Weekly. "I just spoke with Sherri Shepherd about it, and we’re sending some cards over to her." Despite the tough news, Jenny remains optimistic, stating, "That woman is a powerhouse. She'll keep going no matter what obstacles come her way."

Jenny McCarthy had the opportunity to work alongside Barbara Walters during her final year on "The View," from 2013 to 2014. While their collaboration lasted just a year, it left a lasting impression on Jenny. "The best thing that came out of my time on 'The View' was Barbara Walters," McCarthy told Us Weekly. "Being there for her last year was incredible. I soaked in as much as I could of her expertise, her skills, her tips. I listened, I took notes, and it was one of the best experiences of my career."

"Imagine Barbara Walters, this incredible woman, who didn’t want to leave her show. I was the new person there, and it was tough," Jenny admitted. "Every day I went home feeling miserable. I regret not taking the CBS job offer back then. It was the most difficult job in my 25 years in show business." Despite the tough times, Jenny emphasizes her enduring admiration for Barbara.
