There’s nothing like family pride, and Jenna Bush Hager is living it to the fullest! Jenna, a devoted mom to three amazing kids—Margaret "Mila," Poppy, and Henry "Hal"—shares her life with her husband, Henry Hager. Her twin sister, Barbara Bush, is also stepping into the role of a proud mom. In September 2021, Barbara welcomed her first child, Cora, alongside her husband, Craig Coyne. And just recently, the family grew even more with the arrival of Barbara and Craig's son, Edward. Let’s dive deeper into their heartwarming journey!
Introducing Cora: The Sweetheart of the Bush Family
Barbara Bush and Craig Coyne tied the knot in October 2018 at the picturesque Bush family compound in Maine. Like many young women, Barbara had always dreamed of starting a family. Interestingly, prior to meeting Craig, Barbara took a proactive step in her fertility journey with a little nudge from her grandmother, the legendary former First Lady Barbara Bush. “My grandmother said, ‘I think that’s a really good idea,’” Jenna shared during a November 2021 episode of the “Making Space” podcast. Inspired by her grandma’s encouragement, Barbara froze her eggs, planning to move forward with motherhood, whether or not she met someone special. Thankfully, fate brought her Craig, and together they embarked on this beautiful journey.

Craig and Barbara decided to celebrate their love all over again with a second wedding in April 2019 in Texas. Their union blossomed into a beautiful family when Cora made her entrance two years later. Cora’s birth was joyfully announced by her proud grandparents, George W. Bush and Laura Bush, via an Instagram post. Born six weeks early, Cora Georgia Coyne arrived on September 27, 2021, in Maine, close to the family home where the couple had exchanged vows. “With full hearts, @laurawbush and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter,” the former president wrote on Instagram. “Barbara gave birth to Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine. Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful.”

Jenna couldn’t help but gush over her newborn niece. In a sweet Instagram tribute, she wrote, “Today is the day I got to meet my most beautiful, precious, feisty niece (a bit earlier than we expected!). I witnessed in awe as my dearest, toughest @barbara.p.bush became a mama. And today is the day I fell in love! Some cousins are anxiously waiting to play with you, but not just yet love.”
Cora’s middle name, Georgia, is a heartfelt nod to her grandfather George and her late great-grandfather George H.W. Bush. Since her arrival, Barbara has shared glimpses of her precious baby during family gatherings. In August 2022, Jenna posted Instagram pictures from a memorable family trip to Maine, where Barbara and Cora spent quality time with Jenna’s kids, Mila, Poppy, and Hal. In the photos, Cora looked just like her mom, with the same bright blue eyes and brown hair.
Welcoming Edward: A New Addition to the Family
In August 2024, Jenna excitedly announced the arrival of Barbara’s second child, a baby boy named Edward Finn. “My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn!” Jenna joyfully shared on Instagram. The Bush family continues to grow, and each new addition brings even more love and laughter.

In the heartwarming photos, Jenna can be seen holding little Edward as she feeds him a bottle. Another picture captures Jenna sitting beside Barbara in the hospital bed, both glowing as they hold the newest addition to their family. While Barbara has kept most of the details surrounding Edward’s arrival private, Jenna did reveal during a Today episode in May that she had thrown a baby shower for her
