“Ozzy said, ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’” Sharon joked, laughing as the audience erupted into applause. At 67 years old, this former red-haired icon decided it was time for a change after nearly two decades of weekly salon visits. “I was just so over it,” Sharon admitted, her voice filled with relief. “I mean, 18 years of dyeing my hair every single week—it was exhausting. I finally said to myself, ‘Why am I trying to be something I’m not?’ So, I decided to embrace who I really am.”
Sharon Finds Support in Her Co-Hosts
Her co-hosts were quick to rally behind her decision, with Marie Osmond chiming in about her own experiences with hair color changes. “You know, I’ve been there too,” Marie said, pointing to a noticeable white streak in her own hair. “It’s tiring, right? But you look absolutely fabulous, Sharon. This color is so on-trend right now. It’s perfect!”

Her colorist, Jack Martin, took to Instagram to share the incredible transformation. “Another great day in my career welcoming the most beautiful and elegant talk show host and entertainer @sharonosbourne for a complete transformation,” Jack wrote, expressing his excitement and admiration for Sharon.
Sharon, whose natural hair is 100% white, had been coloring it dark red every week for the past 18 years. “She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation a long time ago, but every time she attempted it, it ended up in disaster,” Jack revealed. Determined to make this time different, Jack promised to give it his all. “It took me a total of 8 hours from start to finish to get her to a platinum blonde so she doesn’t have to be committed to coloring her hair once a week anymore,” he added. “I had a great time spending my day off with this gorgeous, humble, and sweet soul.”
