Sofia Vergara's Quarantine Bliss: A Star-Studded Staycation
Let’s be honest—Sofia Vergara’s Instagram page paints a picture-perfect quarantine. The Modern Family star has been living her best life at home during these unprecedented times. In a recent conversation with People, Sofia opened up about her quarantine experience with her husband Joe Manganiello, her son Manolo Vergara, and her niece Claudia Vergara. Her verdict? “It hasn’t been that bad.”
At 47, Sofia is embracing the lockdown with a positive attitude. She shared, “We can’t complain, actually. We’re all staying at home.” With a spacious house, Sofia’s family has found comfort and joy in their quarantine setup. “I have a big house, so I’ve been able to have my son, my niece, my husband, and three dogs around. We’ve been lucky that we’ve been able to be comfortable,” she explained.
Family Bonding: A Recipe for Quarantine Success
While many families are finding the quarantine challenging, Sofia’s household has turned it into a bonding experience. When they’re not enjoying backyard barbecues or lounging by the pool, the Vergara clan is focused on keeping the house running smoothly. Sofia revealed, “Since I have the company of Manolo and Claudia, both 27, I’ve given everyone a job to complete around the house.”

Here’s how the family duties are divided: “I don’t cook. My son is the one that cooks actually. We’ve been very lucky in that he loves it and he makes sure that we’re all fed. He’s always the one that’s in the kitchen,” Sofia said with pride. “My niece is in charge of the dishes and making sure that the kitchen is clean. Then I am in charge of organizing and disinfecting. My husband is in charge of feeding the dogs and opening the mail.”

Staying Positive: Sofia’s Quarantine Mindset
The Hot Pursuit star is all about finding the silver lining in this challenging period. “We haven’t had a bad time,” Sofia marveled. “I try to make an event out of everything to entertain everyone.” Her approach to quarantine is all about making the most of her time with family.
For Sofia, having her family together during the pandemic has been a blessing. “We’ve been lucky that we can escape. Everyone does their own thing. I think that’s why we haven’t had one fight yet,” she shared. Sofia and Joe, who tied the knot in 2015, have managed to maintain their sanity by giving each other space. “We don’t have to be on top of each other,” she said.

Joe Manganiello: The Perfect Quarantine Partner
Sofia isn’t the only one enjoying quarantine. Joe Manganiello, 43, revealed in May 2019 that he and Sofia are happiest when they’re at home together. “We marathon Netflix and watch shows like Game of Thrones, Mindhunter, and Naked and Afraid,” he told Men’s Health. “When we’re at home, we’re opposites in all the best ways and we’re compatible in all the best ways … Masculine/feminine, yin and yang, whatever you want to call it.”
Joe spends his time working out at the gym while Sofia records or attends Zoom meetings. This balance allows them to maintain their relationship without getting under each other’s skin. “We’ve been very good,” Sofia shared. “He works out at the gym, while I’m recording some things or he has his Zoom meetings in his office. We’ve been lucky that we can escape.”

Sofia’s quarantine life proves that even in uncertain times, family and positivity can make all the difference. Her household might just be the blueprint for quarantine success!
