Ryan Seacrest Breathes Easy Amidst Nature
Who doesn’t love a little fresh air, even if it’s from behind a mask? That’s exactly what Ryan Seacrest did this Memorial Day weekend. The 45-year-old media mogul took a refreshing hike in Los Angeles, sharing the moment with his fans on Instagram. “A breath of fresh air … even from behind a mask. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!” he wrote in the caption, showing off his blue face mask while enjoying the trails. It’s moments like these that remind us all to take a step back, breathe, and enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer, even during challenging times.
Recovering from Exhaustion
For those who noticed Ryan missing the May 18 episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, there’s no need to worry. The beloved entertainer was simply taking a well-deserved break due to exhaustion. “Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home,” his rep explained to People. It’s no secret that Ryan has been juggling multiple projects—between hosting Live With Kelly and Ryan, American Idol, his radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and the Disney Family Singalong specials, his schedule is packed. After a day off, Ryan returned, feeling refreshed and ready to dive back into his busy life.

Back in Action and Grateful for Support
On May 19, Ryan reassured his fans that he was “doing well” and was thrilled to return to Live. “I want to thank Mark [Consuelos] for filling in yesterday,” he said, giving a shout-out to cohost Kelly Ripa’s husband. “He’s so good at it! Also, all the very kind well-wishes for my exhaustion, working around the clock.” It’s heartwarming to see how much support Ryan has from both his colleagues and fans. Now that he’s back on track, Ryan can enjoy some quality time with his girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, in quarantine.
Quarantine Life with Shayna Taylor
When Ryan isn’t busy with his multiple hosting gigs, he’s making the most of his time at home with Shayna Taylor. “We’re barbecuing and trying to make as many things as we can that are relatively healthy,” he shared during a May 20 interview with People. It’s clear that Ryan is embracing the quarantine lifestyle, just like the rest of us. Despite the challenges of working remotely, including doing his own makeup for various shows, he’s finding ways to adapt and thrive. “I put makeup on so many times a day because I’m doing Live, the Disney Family Singalong specials and Idol,” he joked. While he may not have had a tutorial, Ryan’s making the best of it, proving that even the busiest of us can find balance during these unprecedented times.
