"This is such a weird time for everyone," she acknowledges. "Expecting my kids to be 110 percent focused on schoolwork is unreasonable. So, I try to relax and give them a break. It’s helped us all stay sane." Her advice is simple but powerful: allow for improvisation and flexibility in parenting. After all, life is unpredictable, and sometimes the best thing we can do is adapt.
