Who says fatherhood can’t be fun and adventurous? Jack Osbourne is proving he’s got this whole dad thing down pat. Recently, the Portals to Hell star took his eldest daughter, Pearl, on a memorable daddy-daughter date night. This wasn’t just any ordinary outing—it was a sneaky nighttime adventure to witness the mesmerizing "red tide" phenomenon along the beaches of Los Angeles on May 11.
A Night of Bioluminescent Wonders
Jack shared a heart-melting photo of the 8-year-old enjoying their special moment together. In the image, Pearl is seen kneeling on the sand, glancing back at her father with a big smile. “Sneaky nighttime adventure with Pearl to check out some bioluminescent waves,” Jack captioned the snap, adding the hashtag #bluewaves to highlight the magical glow caused by the bioluminescent tide.

The Science Behind the Glow
Jack’s mention of “blue waves” refers to the breathtaking bioluminescence caused by a dense population of microorganisms in the water. These tiny creatures emit a glowing blue light when disturbed, creating a dazzling spectacle along the shoreline. Although Jack joked about their “sneaky mission,” it’s clear that he’s making the most of quarantine life while keeping his family safe and entertained.
Lockdown Can't Stop the Fun
Earlier that day, Jack hinted at his excitement for the lockdown to end. Sharing a sweet picture of his youngest daughter, Minnie, preparing for her first "van adventure," he captioned the post, “Just getting Minnie ready for her first van adventure. The moment that quarantine is over, I’m hitting the open road with the girl squad.” Jack’s enthusiasm shows he’s ready to embrace life post-pandemic while cherishing these intimate moments with his daughters.
Despite having multiple sclerosis, which places him at higher risk for complications from COVID-19, Jack remains optimistic and cautious. He’s taken extra steps to protect himself and his family, proving that staying positive and proactive can make all the difference during challenging times.

Jack opened up to Entertainment Tonight about his quarantine routine. “I’m doing great, you know. Just been kind of keeping my head down and trying to stay as healthy as possible,” he revealed. He credits his daughters for keeping him motivated, saying, “There’s like this looming shadow of impending doom, and like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe this is happening.’ But then I’m on a really good routine at home. I’m exercising every day, I’m like being one of those [people]. Trying to do good at home — I’m just not posting about it.”

Ozzy's Update and Quarantine Tips
Jack also provided an update on his legendary father, Ozzy Osbourne. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s earlier this year, Ozzy has been under the watchful eye of his wife Sharon and family. Jack noted that his dad is “pretty good” given the circumstances but admitted that Ozzy has fallen into the trap of consuming too much news about the pandemic.
Jack advised his dad to limit news consumption, saying, “I’m like, ‘Dude, turn that crap off. [Watch] a little bit in the morning, a little bit at night. Get the, you know, the broad strokes. But let’s unplug the IV of news right now.”
It’s clear that the Osbournes are handling this challenging time with strength, humor, and love. We can’t wait to see what other adventures Jack and his family have in store!
