In an exclusive conversation with Closer Weekly, Candace Cameron Bure shares how her family is embracing this unique time together during the ongoing pandemic. The beloved actress reveals her gratitude for having her loved ones by her side, making the most of every moment.
At 44 years old, Candace says, "We’re doing really well. I’m incredibly thankful that I have my family around me." She goes on to explain how they're finding joy in the little things, from preparing meals together to indulging in some friendly competition with board games. And of course, there's always Netflix to keep everyone entertained.

When Family Time Becomes TV-Free
Candace notes that her children, Natasha (21), Lev (20), and Maksim (18), aren’t exactly fans of watching anything featuring their mom on screen. "Neither Hallmark or Fuller House!" she jokes. It seems like her work is off-limits in their household. "They probably see my face enough as it is," she adds. "They’re like, 'Mom, we don’t want to watch you on TV too.'"

Work-Life Balance During Quarantine
Even with the quarantine, Candace hasn’t completely stepped away from her professional duties. "There’s still plenty to do through social media and interviews," she explains. Despite the challenges, she's managing to stay connected with her audience while balancing her family life.
Routine Keeps the Household Running Smoothly
With her husband Valeri, 45, and their three kids at home, they’ve established a routine to help keep things organized. "We’ve made a schedule, and that’s been incredibly helpful," says Candace. "We wake up every morning, work out, shower, and then tackle whatever tasks we can handle for the day."
Candace and Valeri, who have been married since 1996, are proving to be a powerhouse couple during these unprecedented times. Their long-standing partnership is a testament to their ability to adapt and thrive together.
Cherishing Every Moment
Candace is making the most of this time with her children, knowing that once the quarantine lifts, life will return to its usual pace. "My youngest, Maks, is home now, but he’s still in high school," she shares. "He’ll be doing his senior year soon, and he was actually in Minnesota playing hockey before all this happened."
Lev, meanwhile, is juggling college with a full-time job at his dad's business, Bure Family Wine. And Natasha, who dreams of becoming an actress, has returned home to self-quarantine alongside her brother.
