We don’t discriminate against any part of the island when it comes to potentially buying a house. If the numbers make sense, we’re going to buy it. Most of the houses we buy are single-walled, redwood tongue and groove, and full of stuff. But one thing we bring to sellers is peace of mind—you don’t have to do anything. We’re buying the worst of the worst.” Tristyn echoed her husband’s sentiment, adding, “Where a lot of people see gross filth, we see a diamond and we see its future. We want to bring it back to life.”
