Hey there, fans of the hit show Tracker! If you’re loving the show as much as everyone else, you’ve probably noticed the incredible cast, including the fiery Fiona Rene, who plays Reenie Greene. In a recent interview, Fiona dished on what she’s hoping to see for her character in Season 3, which CBS just announced. Let’s dive in!
Reenie’s Backstory: What Fiona Wants to Explore
So, Fiona Rene, the talented actress behind Reenie Greene, is all about diving deeper into her character’s past. In an exclusive interview with TV Insider published on March 6, Fiona expressed her desire to uncover more about Reenie’s backstory. She mentioned, “I hope that we get to see more Reenie backstory, just like we get some more Colter backstory.”
Now, this is fascinating because in Episode 10 of Season 1, we got a little taste of Reenie’s family life—mentioning her dad and sister. But Fiona wants to know more. She said, “I’m so intrigued by her upbringing. Is it what we assume, or is there a twist we haven’t seen yet? Reenie is such a unique, fiery force of nature. What kind of family could have shaped her into who she is today?”

Reenie’s Relationships: What’s Next?
As fans eagerly anticipate Season 2, there’s a lot of buzz around Reenie’s relationship with Elliott, played by the talented Michael Rady. Elliott made an appearance in the March 9 episode, and Fiona gave us some teasers about what’s coming up.
Fiona shared, “Elliott sticks around for a bit, and let me tell you, the meeting between Colter and Elliott in Episode 4 was intense! Reenie was probably the most stressed out of everyone. But here’s the thing—Colter and Elliott handled it with maturity, respect, and honor for each other. That really put Reenie at ease.”
The Foundation of Trust and Respect
Fiona also highlighted the evolving relationship between Reenie and Colter. She said, “Their relationship is becoming more grounded. It’s all about trust and respect, which is happening not just with Elliott but also with Colter. Reenie is finally letting go of the baggage from that night at the hotel a couple of years back. It’s a fresh start, and I think fans are going to love it.”

On top of that, Fiona made an appearance on KCAL News, where she reflected on being part of such a successful show. She said, “Honestly, I’m the luckiest girl in the world. My 14-year-old self would be rolling around on the floor, completely in awe of where we are today.”
What’s Ahead for Season 2, Episode 12?
Fiona also gave us a sneak peek into what’s coming up in Season 2, Episode 12, airing on March 9. She explained, “Colter has to go to Ohio to find a missing mother. When I read the script, it was shocking. Reenie cares but coincidentally is also heading to Indianapolis for a deposition that might cause problems later. She offers to help Colter, and as usual, he accepts. So, she’s boots on the ground, and in a clip from the episode, she has to go to a storage unit to find evidence and gets into a little bit of trouble along the way.”
Season 3 Teasers
Season 3 of Tracker is set to premiere during the 2025-2026 broadcast season, with somewhere between 18 and 22 episodes, according to Justin Hartley, who plays Colter Shaw, in a February 20 Instagram video. Fans, get ready for more drama, mystery, and excitement!
