During an Instagram Live session, as Sam was heading to film GMA on Friday, March 1, someone asked him directly, “Are you full-time now?” Now, that’s a question a lot of us have been wondering about.

  • Sam gave a clear and candid response: “No, it’s just that I’ve been filling in for a lot of people who’ve been gone. Plus, the projects I’ve been working on for ABC have kept me super busy. So, technically, I’m still part-time, but it feels like a lot right now,” he explained. Sounds like he’s got his hands full, but he’s handling it with grace and professionalism.

    Memorable Moments with Robin Roberts

    Just the day before, Sam teamed up with co-host Robin Roberts for one of the most memorable segments on GMA. They had their colors analyzed, and it was such a fun and engaging moment that resonated with viewers. One fan even commented on Instagram, “This was such a great segment!” It’s moments like these that remind us why Sam is such a beloved figure in the world of television.

    Sam Champion’s Much-Needed Break

    After a hectic week at GMA, Sam announced he was taking a much-deserved break. He shared his plans with his followers, saying, “Right after this, I’m jumping on an airplane and flying to Miami to spend some quality time with my husband, Rubem Robierb.”

    He added, “And if everything goes perfectly, I’ll be swimming in the ocean before dinner. That’s the plan.” Doesn’t that sound like the perfect way to unwind? We’re sure his fans are rooting for him to recharge and come back even stronger.

    As fans got clarity on Sam’s role at ABC, many started wondering where Ginger Zee was. It turns out, the 43-year-old meteorologist has been working on a new project that's kept her away from the GMA studio in New York City.

    The next day, Ginger gave another teaser on what she was up to. “Off the grid. Can’t wait to share soon,” she posted on X. Her fans were quick to respond, with one person joking, “You better not be leaving!” But Ginger quickly reassured everyone.

    When someone wrote, “Miss you on GMA, hope you’re back on soon,” Ginger replied, “Thanks Mark! I’m back Monday. Earth month coming up so I’ve got some huge stories to bring you soon.” It seems like both Sam and Ginger have exciting things in store for their fans.
