According to a statement given to People, a spokesperson from Flecha Cantina explained that the fire was sparked by a defective fire pit. Apparently, the fire ignited from the bottom of the pit, causing quite the commotion. Thankfully, the local fire crew sprang into action and managed to douse the flames in no time.

The spokesperson reassured everyone, saying, “The interior of the restaurant suffered absolutely zero damage. The only casualties were the fire pit and the chair sitting next to it. And the best part? No one got hurt!” That’s some good news amidst the chaos, right?

According to People, the firefighters eventually managed to turn off the propane tanks that were fueling the fire. Once that happened, the restaurant was back in business as if nothing had happened.
“The fire sprinkler company came back out, recharged the system, and by 7 p.m., the restaurant was back open,” the spokesperson added. That’s impressive turnaround time, if you ask me.

One person commented on the Instagram post, expressing concern: “I heard there was a small fire yesterday on the patio? Hope everyone is ok. See you all soon! Love your food.. love the atmosphere.”
This comment prompted a reassuring response from The Townsquare Las Vegas account. “There was a minor fire on the Flecha Cantina patio last night. There were no injuries, and TSLV thanks LVFD for their prompt response. Flecha is open normal business hours,” they replied.

Randy Sharpe, the CEO of Wahlburgers, also spoke about the incident. “The whole front of the building has reflective windows, so it made it look pretty spectacular, but not in a good way,” he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Thursday. “The fire department came out quickly; they suppressed it. It was out in 20 minutes. It was very minor. Fortunately, it wasn’t worse.”
