Donnie Wahlberg Hangs Out With Jenny McCarthy and Runs Into Kevin Dillon
Over the weekend, Donnie Wahlberg and his wife, Jenny McCarthy, were in Las Vegas soaking up the thrill of the F1 Grand Prix. It wasn’t just about high-speed racing, though. The Blue Bloods star had a little extra excitement when he crossed paths with fellow cast member Kevin Dillon. You know, the guy who plays James O’Shea on the show.
Donnie, who turned 55 earlier this year, shared a candid moment from the event on his Instagram Stories. The snapshot featured him alongside Jenny, who’s 52, Kevin, who’s 59, and Entourage star Jerry Ferrara. The caption? Simple and nostalgic: “The Entourage.” Donnie clearly couldn’t resist a nod to the popular HBO series that brought Jerry and Kevin fame before they ventured into other projects.
Kevin Dillon: A Blue Bloods and Entourage Veteran
Kevin Dillon made a splash in seasons 7 and 8 of Blue Bloods, but fans haven’t seen him on the show in a while. He might be more famous for his role as Johnny “Drama” Chase in Entourage, which ran for eight seasons. That role cemented his status as a Hollywood staple, and his presence at the F1 event was a reminder of his enduring charm.

The End of an Era: Blue Bloods Winds Down
It’s a bittersweet time for fans of Blue Bloods. The show is currently airing its 14th and final season on CBS, leaving many viewers heartbroken. The series, which has been a staple of Friday nights for over a decade, is wrapping up, and the emotions are running high.
One fan commented on the show’s Instagram page, saying, “Another night of great writing, acting, and emotions! I’m still loving every episode.” They added, “Frustrating that the end is near. Everyone at Blue Bloods, thank you for such entertaining art. Much love!” Another fan chimed in, “Hard to believe CBS is still going to cancel this show. Keeping it should be a no-brainer as it’s one of the few really good shows left. Incredibly sad!!”
Even Donnie himself has expressed his sadness. On November 15, he admitted on X (formerly Twitter) that watching the final episodes go by each week was getting “more and more sad the closer we get.” Fans responded in droves, with one saying, “I’m so sad to see this show leaving. Since it began, I have looked forward to a new episode each week and was never disappointed.”

What’s Next for CBS Fridays?
With the cancellation of Blue Bloods, CBS has announced its 2025 lineup, and S.W.A.T. will take over the coveted Friday, 10 p.m. time slot. This spot was held by Blue Bloods for 14 years. S.W.A.T., starring Shemar Moore, will return to TV in late January in its new time slot.
S.W.A.T. has had its fair share of drama off-screen too, having been canceled and uncanceled twice. Shemar, 54, told People in an interview published on November 1, “To get canceled twice in a row and to get uncanceled twice in a row, I give kudos to me running my mouth on social media. Nothing lasts forever, but I fight.”
Fans were overjoyed when CBS confirmed that S.W.A.T. would be getting a season 8. CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach said in a press release, “Here at CBS, we always ‘stay liquid’ and love a good dramatic twist, especially when it leads to an eighth season of S.W.A.T.! The show continues to resonate with viewers thanks to our talented cast led by Shemar Moore and our amazing writers and producers who keep the show relevant and action-packed. We’re very pleased to renew it again and incredibly grateful to our partners at SONY, CBS Studios, and Shemar for working so closely with us to bring it back for next season.”
