There was a blast from the past on the set of Live with Kelly and Ryan (now simply Live) when Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos got a surprise visit from someone who played their on-screen baby boy, Enzo, from their days on All My Children. It happened during the Monday, June 17, episode, and it was an emotional moment for everyone involved.

Mark Notices Something in the Audience

Mark, who’s as charming as ever, was the first to notice something unusual happening in the audience. He leaned over to Kelly and said, “I saw an interesting sign right there in front.” He gestured toward the audience, and Kelly followed his gaze, curious to see what had caught his attention. “What is it?” she asked, intrigued. The two of them scanned the crowd, looking for any clues.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Mark then took a moment to explain the significance of what they were witnessing. “We’ve talked about this in the past,” he said, addressing the audience. “Back in the day, when Kelly and I were on All My Children, we had a baby together—baby Enzo. And we’ve always wondered, ‘What ever happened to Baby Enzo? Where is Baby Enzo now?’” He paused for dramatic effect, and then revealed, “Well, ladies and gentlemen, Baby Enzo is in our audience today!”

  • The studio audience erupted into applause, clapping enthusiastically as a woman in the front row stood up, proudly holding a picture of Kelly cradling her as an infant. It was a heartwarming moment that brought a smile to everyone’s face.

The Reveal: Baby Enzo Grows Up

“Hold on a second, Baby Enzo,” Kelly said, clearly excited. But then came the twist. The woman explained, “I’m not the boy. I have a twin brother. At the time, he didn’t have enough hair, so I was Baby Enzo for you.”

The woman, who is almost 23 years old, explained that she was born just three days before Kelly gave birth to her real-life daughter, Lola, in 2001. She added, “I guess on the set, my mom held Lola and you held me.”

Kelly looked at the picture and gushed, “Look at me holding you! Or maybe that’s Lola—I don’t know.” She laughed, and the woman reassured her, “No, it’s me.”

Kelly was clearly touched by the reunion. “I’m so happy to see you,” she said warmly, asking if the woman was still acting. “No, I mean this is my big break now, I guess,” the woman replied with a laugh. She went on to explain that she lives on Long Island and works in sports, but this was definitely a highlight of her life.

    Kelly and Mark's Journey Together

Kelly and Mark’s journey began on the set of All My Children, where they first met and fell in love. Mark joined the show in 1995, playing the role of Mateo Santos, and quickly became Kelly’s on-screen love interest as Hayley Vaughan. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and they eloped to Las Vegas in May 1996.

Fast forward to 2001, and Hayley gave birth to her first child with Mateo, baby Lorenzo, known as Enzo. In real life, Kelly and Mark welcomed their daughter Lola in June 2001. They completed their family in February 2003 with the birth of their son Joaquin. By then, both had left All My Children, departing in 2002.

    Kelly’s Career Evolution

Kelly landed the coveted co-hosting role on Live opposite Regis Philbin in 2001, while still juggling her job on AMC. She became the primary host in 2011 when Regis retired. Kelly went on to have former NFL star Michael Strahan as her co-host from 2012 to 2016. After Michael’s departure to join Good Morning America, Ryan Seacrest stepped in and co-hosted for six years before amicably leaving in April 2023. Mark, who had frequently substituted as a guest co-host, was then hired as Kelly’s full-time partner, and the show was renamed Live.
