Hey there, friends! You know what's truly impressive? Waking up before the sun even thinks about rising. That's exactly what Hoda Kotb does every single day for her job at the Today show. But trust me, her early-bird lifestyle is nothing short of extraordinary. Let me tell you all about it!
Hoda's Crazy Early Mornings
Now, picture this: It's 3 a.m., and while most of us are still sound asleep, Hoda is already wide awake and getting ready for her day. In a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Hoda opened up about her insane schedule. "The schedule is absolutely bananas," she confessed to Ellen, who couldn't help but laugh. "I feel so bad for Joel [Sciffman], my fiancé, because by the time I'm home at 5 p.m., I'm ready for dinner. Meanwhile, my kids are already saying 'night-night.'"
Hoda's Unconventional Bedtime
Believe it or not, Hoda's day doesn't last as long as you might think. "I'm usually in bed by 7:30 a.m. on a regular day," she revealed. "You start to gravitate toward people who are just as weird as you." She also shared that she often gets early morning calls from her Today co-hosts, including the one and only Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie. "My phone rings at 3:30 a.m., and it's either Roker, Savannah, or someone else at work. It's totally normal for us," she joked.

Joel's Supportive Role
Now, you might be wondering, how does Hoda manage such an intense schedule? Well, she has an amazing support system in her fiancé, Joel Sciffman. "Sometimes Joel will get up early just to have a quick cup of coffee with me before I head out," Hoda shared. Isn't that sweet? Even with her packed schedule, Hoda always makes time for her two adorable daughters, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine, whom she shares with Joel.
Hoda gushed to Ellen, "I feel like my life finally makes sense. I used to think it did, but now when I get home from work—usually in the afternoon—Haley, my older one, jumps five feet and nine inches into my arms. And Hope? She just smiles at me. It's the best feeling in the world."

Hoda's Perspective on Work and Family
Hoda also opened up about the clarity she's found in balancing her career and family. "I told Joel, 'I've worked my whole life, and my work has always been riding shotgun. But now, all of a sudden, I have this clarity. It's weird,'" she explained. But here's the kicker: Hoda hinted that her family might grow even more in the future. "I don't know for sure," she said, adding that she "looks for signs."
She continued, "I've been thinking, maybe the answer is yes. And when you're a parent later in life, like watching Haley and Hope together, all I really want is for them to have someone to hold their hand forever. That's all I want." How heartwarming is that?
