That’s right, her amazing husband, Mike Feldman, stepped up to the plate and became her personal producer and tech guru. Talk about teamwork!
“Live… from my basement,” Savannah joked on Instagram, sharing some photos of Mike, who’s 51 years young, lending a hand. “This is TODAY. Big shoutout to my husband @feldmike who has turned into producer and technician!!” she wrote, giving a nod to the man behind the scenes. It’s clear that Mike is not just a husband but also a rock when it comes to Savannah’s work-life balance.

Why Savannah Guthrie Chose to Work From Home
At 48 years old, Savannah decided to work from home after noticing some minor health issues. “Here’s what happened: I wasn’t feeling my best, a little sore throat, some sniffles—things I wouldn’t have thought twice about before. But we’re living in different times now, aren’t we?” she explained during the show, referencing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “So, out of an abundance of caution, and to really model the vigilance the CDC is asking of all of us right now, we followed the advice of NBC’s medical team. And here I am, working from home as we speak, and we’re still together. We’re gonna get this show on the air, and we have a lot of information we want to get to our viewers this morning.”
Savannah and Mike Feldman: A Love Story
Savannah couldn’t be luckier to have Mike by her side. The couple tied the knot back in 2014 and have two beautiful children together: Vale, who’s 5, and Charles, who’s 3. Reflecting on their journey, Savannah once shared how it took her a bit to fully grasp that Mike was proposing during their May 2013 proposal on the Today show. “He actually got down on one knee, and I still thought we were just talking,” she recalled with a laugh. “Honestly, it didn’t really hit me until he brought out the box. And even then, I didn’t open it for a long time because I was just so overwhelmed.”
Mike, ever the gentleman, called into the show later to express how he feels like “the luckiest guy in the world” to have Savannah in his life. It’s moments like these that remind us why these two are such a perfect match.
Savannah Celebrates Her Love for Mike
When the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, Savannah took to Instagram to give her husband the recognition he deserves. “How sweet it is to be loved by you, Michael Feldman. You make me happy every single day. And you’ve made all my dreams come true,” she gushed in March 2019. “Happy Anniversary, @feldmike.”
