Actress Kate Hudson and her brother, Oliver Hudson, both happen to be parents of three kids each. But growing up, neither of them anticipated having the same number of children. Recently, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kate, 40, hinted that she might end up surpassing her older brother Oliver, 43, in the number of kids. "I have a feeling I’m probably going to end up winning," the Almost Famous star joked. "I don’t know if I’m done yet." However, Oliver seemed pretty confident about his decision. "I’m done," he confessed. "I’m so done."
Kate’s Growing Family: Is There Room for More?
Kate Hudson, who is already a mom to three amazing kids—Ryder, 16, Bingham, 8, and Rani Rose, 1—still feels like she could welcome another addition to her family. Her youngest, Rani, is at that adorable stage where the thought of having another baby feels right. "Right now, Rani’s in that place where you’re like, ‘I want another baby,’” she said. “But once she gets to be around 4 or 5, you start feeling like your life is kinda back on track. There’s this window where it feels possible." Kate is clearly enjoying this phase with her daughter and cherishing every moment.
Rani Rose: The Funny Gene and Hollywood's Future Star
Kate shared some delightful insights into her youngest daughter’s personality. "I actually think she got the funny gene," Kate laughed. "She loves jewelry, so if you’re wearing any kind of necklace, she’ll go, 'Off. Off.' So you have to take it off because she wants to wear it." Oliver chimed in, agreeing that Rani is already showing signs of being a strong and independent little girl. "She’s feminine, but tough. She’s gonna hold her own," he added. It seems like Rani will be growing up in Hollywood just like her mom, and who knows—she might follow in Kate's footsteps one day.

Kate’s Journey to Becoming an Actress
Ellen DeGeneres couldn’t help but ask Kate if she ever saw herself becoming an actress at a young age. Kate’s response was straightforward. "I knew. I never thought I would do anything else," the Bride Wars star explained. Oliver then added his two cents, joking about how Kate was always destined for the spotlight. "There was no knowing with Kate," he teased. "It just was. She came out of the womb performing. Song and dance like, 'Hey look at me,' like Ethel Merman." It’s clear that Kate has always been a natural performer, and it’s no surprise that she’s achieved so much success in her career.
If Kate does decide to expand her family, she’ll undoubtedly create an even more beautiful and loving environment for her children. Whether or not she adds to her brood, Kate’s family is already filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of talent.
