Let’s be real for a second. Being stuck indoors isn’t exactly ideal, but Jennifer Garner? She’s leaning into it. The mom of three—Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel—has found joy in quarantine while still eagerly looking forward to when life returns to normal. In a heartfelt chat with People magazine, Garner opened up about her excitement for the day her kids can reconnect with their friends. “I can’t wait to see my kids hugging their friends like there’s no tomorrow,” she said with a smile.

Now, here’s the thing: as much as she loves her kids and enjoys their company, Garner admits she’s ready for a little more social interaction herself. “I miss my girlfriends so much, but you know what I really can’t wait for? Seeing my kids have one of those messy, germy sleepovers. They’ve earned it,” the 47-year-old actress told People on April 23. There’s something so relatable about that, isn’t there? The desire to return to normalcy, even if it means a little chaos along the way.

Teaching Life Skills in Quarantine

While the world waits for things to return to normal, Jennifer is making the most of her time at home. She’s using this period to instill some valuable life lessons in her children. One of the biggest things she’s focused on? Cleaning and staying organized. Now, you might think that sounds boring, but Garner has a unique perspective on it. “When I was younger, I scrubbed bathrooms in theaters all across the country. It’s funny how life comes full circle. Now, I get to teach my kids those same skills,” she reminisced.

  • Jennifer isn’t just teaching her kids to clean, though. She’s also celebrating their strength and resilience during these challenging times. “I’m so proud of how adaptable kids are. They’re handling this pandemic with grace and determination. It’s truly inspiring,” she shared with admiration. Her children—Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8—are stepping up in ways that make any parent proud.

    Jen’s Quarantine Struggles

Of course, no one is perfect, and Jennifer is the first to admit that she’s not immune to the struggles of quarantine. While her kids seem to be thriving, she’s having a bit of trouble finding time for herself. “Let’s be honest, scheduling self-care during quarantine is harder than it sounds. Last night, I finally gave myself a half-hearted manicure. It was a start, right?” she joked with People.

Despite the challenges, Garner is embracing the moment. “I can’t say I’ve showered every day, but all those facial and hair masks in the drawer? They’re finally getting used. Quarantine might be hard, but it’s also teaching me to slow down and take care of myself,” she added with a laugh.
