On Monday, August 31, Ree took to social media to express just how much Paige means to her. "Paige may be 21 today, but to me, she'll always be my sweet little Paigie girl, who looked like the Michelin baby," the 51-year-old TV personality gushed. She went on to describe Paige as a unique blend of strength and tenderness, determination and love, fierceness and compassion. "She's a complex, layered soul that I thank God for every single day," Ree wrote, adding a heartfelt "Happy birthday, Paige!!!" to wrap up her message. In her post, the Food Network host shared a stunning photo of Paige at their family ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. It’s a place that holds so many cherished memories for the Drummond family. Ree also included a throwback photo of Paige as a baby, showcasing just how much her youngest has grown. It’s moments like these that remind us how quickly time flies and how important it is to cherish every moment with our loved ones.
Ree’s Bond with Her Daughters
Ree Drummond isn’t just a mom to Paige; she’s also the proud parent of Alex, 23, and her two younger sons, Bryce, 17, and Todd, 16. She shares a special bond with both of her daughters, which becomes even more evident when you hear her talk about them. When Paige headed off to college in 2018, Ree couldn’t help but notice how different things felt around the house. "When Alex left for college in 2015, it was tough, but I still had Paige at home, so the vibe in our household stayed the same," Ree explained in an interview with Cowboys & Indians. "But when Paige went to college, everything changed. It was suddenly a man cave where ranching and football took center stage." Despite the change, Ree has worked hard to keep the female energy alive in her home while also embracing the quiet moments.
Staying Connected
Even though Paige spends most of her time studying at the University of Arkansas, Ree makes sure they stay connected. In February, Ree made a trip to see Paige at college, driving for hours while listening to true crime audiobooks along the way. "I drove over to see Paige at college for the afternoon," she captioned a photo from the visit. Paige also shared a sweet snap of the two together, writing, "You know the weekend is gonna be good when it starts off with your momma coming to town! So thankful for you and days like this." These little moments are what make their bond so special.
We’re sure Paige had an amazing birthday surrounded by love and celebration. Here’s to many more happy years ahead for this incredible young woman!
