You know, sometimes the simplest moments from our past can bring a smile to our faces. That's exactly what happened when Marie Osmond, the legendary singer who's now 60 years young, shared a heartwarming throwback photo of her and her brother Donny Osmond. They were little kids, all smiles as they opened their Christmas presents. It’s like stepping into a time machine, isn’t it?

When Marie and Donny Unwrapped Their Midge and Allen Barbie Dolls

Marie posted this adorable snapshot on Instagram back on July 15, 2020, reminiscing about those magical holiday moments. “Does anyone remember Midge and Allen #Barbie dolls?! I remember when Donny and I got them for Christmas! I could never have too many dolls…,” she wrote in the caption. The photo shows the siblings sitting in their cozy living room, surrounded by the joy of Christmas morning. If you look closely, you can almost hear their laughter and excitement.

    Marie's Lifelong Love for Dolls

Marie’s passion for dolls isn’t just a childhood memory. It’s a lifelong obsession that she’s openly shared with her fans. During an episode of The Talk on April 20, she proudly displayed her impressive doll collection. “I’ve designed dolls for 25 years,” she said with a smile. “Up here, there’s some fun memorabilia—most of it’s in Vegas—but I have on the top shelf, can you see this? There’s the Donny & Marie stuff.”

    Recreating a Childhood Moment

Just a few days ago, Marie shared another nostalgic photo, this time recreating a cherished childhood moment. In the picture, she’s lying in bed surrounded by her beloved dolls, attempting to replicate an old photo she found in her “craft book.” Her caption read, “I loved dolls then, I love dolls now… even the quilt! Thank you for 25 years of #dollmaking.” It’s clear that Marie’s love for dolls transcends time, offering her comfort and joy throughout the years.

Marie’s Utah home is a treasure trove of memories, filled with memorabilia that she treasures deeply. One item she holds close to her heart is a sofa she picked out with her son Michael Bryan, who tragically passed away in 2010. “This is Mike’s couch. This is the one thing I wanted. This is the last thing we bought together,” she said during an interview. “I come in here and I like taking a nap on it. It’s comforting and I remember when we got it and how much he loved it. Those are the things that mean a lot to mothers.”

    Work as a Safe Haven

Marie has often spoken about how her career has been a source of comfort and stability in her life. “I probably will work until I’m dead just because it’s always been a safe place for me,” she told Closer. “When life brought lots of lemons, work was my lemonade and it gave me… I had to support my family and it was just a safe place. I [love] it.” Growing up in the entertainment industry, she feels incredibly blessed for everything she has achieved.
