Anne was the backbone of their production company, handling publicity and ensuring everything ran smoothly. "She runs the household, takes care of the staff, and makes sure everyone is treated well. They call her the boss, and she's a very strong woman," Jeff noted. Her leadership qualities were evident in every aspect of their lives, making her an indispensable part of their legacy.
Unfortunately, Kirk passed away in February 2020 at the age of 103. His son, Michael Douglas, announced the news on Instagram, paying tribute to his legendary father. "To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years," Michael wrote. A year later, in April 2021, Anne also passed away at the age of 102, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. According to an obituary provided by spokeswoman Marcia Newberger, Anne died peacefully at her home in Beverly Hills.
