Exclusive article brought to you by Hallmark Channel.
In Touch recently caught up with the talented Sadie Laflamme-Snow, who plays the role of Alice in Hallmark Channel’s highly anticipated new series, The Way Home. This series premieres on Sunday, January 15, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, and it’s sure to captivate audiences everywhere.
About Alice: Sadie Laflamme-Snow's Breakout Role
When asked about her character Alice, Sadie dives deep into the emotional complexity of this role. "Alice is someone who's grappling with some pretty heavy stuff right off the bat," she explains. "She's dealing with her parents' divorce, and that's left her feeling pretty shut down and angry at the world. But here's the twist—Alice discovers she has the ability to travel back to a time before tragedy struck her family. This revelation not only transforms her but also gives her this incredible wisdom, bravery, and a fierce protectiveness toward her loved ones. Watching Alice grow through all of that is going to be such an emotional ride for viewers."

Working with Acting Legends: Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh
Joining forces with such esteemed actresses as Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh could be intimidating, but Sadie shares how it was more inspiring than anything else. "Honestly, stepping onto set with these two powerhouses was nerve-wracking at first. But from day one, Andie and Chyler made me feel so welcome. They're not just amazing actors; they're also incredible mentors and friends. It's been such a gift to work so closely with them. We've formed a really strong bond as the Landry family, and that chemistry truly shows on screen."
Exploring Intergenerational Relationships
The Way Home delves into the lives of three generations of women, which resonates deeply with Sadie. "The Landry women are such rich, complex characters, and it's fascinating to see how their relationships evolve over time," she says. "There's this beautiful dynamic between mothers and daughters, filled with passion, tension, and deep-rooted connections that span generations. It's the perfect setup for a compelling story. For me personally, my own mom and grandma are two of the most extraordinary people I know. They've shaped who I am, and I feel so comfortable and authentic around them. That authenticity is something I bring to my work, and I think audiences will connect with that in the series."

I was deeply moved by the mother-daughter themes woven throughout the story. And let me tell you, when I found out Andie MacDowell was already part of the series, I was thrilled! My love for acting began when my mom took me to see Billy Elliot the Musical at twelve years old. After the show ended, I turned to her and said, 'I could do that!' and begged her to help me start auditioning. That moment changed everything for me.
What to Expect from The Way Home
Hallmark fans are in for a treat with The Way Home. "This series is going to take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster," Sadie promises. "You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll experience some very real challenges alongside the Landry family. What makes this Hallmark series unique is its fresh approach. It ventures into territory that might feel different from what viewers are used to, but having three generations of women at the helm provides multiple angles to this story. Whether you relate to Alice, her mom, or her grandma, there's something here for everyone to latch onto."
What’s Next for Sadie?
With The Way Home being her latest project, Sadie is eager to see how audiences react. "This is one of the first projects of mine to be released, so I'm really looking forward to sharing my past work with the world over the coming year," she reveals. "In the meantime, you can follow my journey on social media @sadie_snow. I'm excited to see where this path takes me next—whether it's TV, movies, theater, or even taking a little break. The possibilities are endless!"
