A New Era for Today With Jenna & Friends
Since Hoda Kotb stepped down from the program on January 10, Today With Jenna & Friends has been rolling out an all-star lineup of celebrity co-hosts. Stars like Taraji P. Henson, Eva Longoria, and Keke Palmer have already graced the stage with Jenna, 43, adding their charm and energy to the show. Wynonna, 60, is the latest to join this illustrious list.
Wynonna recently paid tribute to Hoda following her departure. “Oh @hodakotb, what a light you are. Thank you for making space for myself and so many others,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a heartfelt photo featuring Hoda, 60, and Savannah Guthrie. “Wishing you all the health and happiness on your next journey.”

With the announcement of these musical superstars taking the reins, Today has extended an invitation to fans to show their love for the artists. “Starting Monday, January 27, we’re kicking off Music Week on TODAY with Jenna and Friends and we’re looking for the biggest fans of Kelsea Ballerini, Jordin Sparks, Ciara and Wynonna Judd!” the post on TODAY.com said. “If you love these talented women and can’t get enough of them, fill out the form below and send us a short video (60 seconds max) explaining why you love these singers and what they mean to you! A TODAY producer will be in touch if your video is selected.”
Scarlett Johansson also stepped in as a guest co-host after Hoda's departure, bringing some unexpected excitement with her. During a spirited "Great Debate" segment, her husband Colin Jost, 42, made a surprise appearance. Jenna Bush Hager posed the question, “Staten Island ferry, good idea or bad idea?” This was a playful nod to the Staten Island ferry Colin and Pete Davidson purchased back in 2022.
“All I can say is if anybody out there would like to start a GoFundMe for the Staten Island Ferry, please be my guest,” Scarlett joked. “I don’t know if I’m speaking for the Staten Island Ferry or against it, but help our family. This has now become a telethon for Support the Staten Island Ferry.”
Colin chimed in, “All I’ll say is I hope you have a good, thick pair of gloves at home because someday you’re going to be getting paper cuts from all the checks that start rolling in from this ferry.”
