From January 2018 to March 2019, DeRon Jenkins wowed audiences alongside his ex-girlfriend, Page Turner, on Flip or Flop Nashville, HGTV's beloved home renovation show. Fans fell in love with their dynamic duo as they flipped houses across Music City. But after the show wrapped its second season, many viewers wondered what happened to the talented renovator. Let’s dive into his journey and find out where DeRon is today.
DeRon Jenkins' Journey: From NFL Gridiron to Nashville Renovations
Before DeRon became a household name in the world of home flipping, he carved out an impressive career on the football field. For nearly a decade, he played in the NFL, suiting up for teams like the Baltimore Ravens and the San Diego Chargers. During those years, he didn’t just focus on touchdowns; he also nurtured a passion for real estate and construction. In fact, when he bought his first home, he took matters into his own hands, tackling several DIY construction projects. That hands-on experience sparked something in him—a love for transforming old spaces into stunning new ones.
When his football career came to an end, DeRon didn’t miss a beat. He transitioned seamlessly into the world of contracting, channeling his athletic drive into creating beautiful homes. “After my seven-year career in the NFL,” DeRon once said to HGTV, “I still had this burning passion to renovate. I wanted to take something old and make it look brand-new, fresh, and vibrant. And I was already in Nashville—a city I absolutely adore. So, I decided to pour my heart into making this city even more beautiful.”

DeRon’s partnership with Page Turner on Flip or Flop Nashville was a unique twist in his career. The spinoff of Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall’s wildly successful Flip or Flop series brought a fresh perspective to home flipping. Despite their romantic relationship fizzling out, the duo decided to keep things professional and friendly. Page explained to Us Weekly back in January 2018, “We dated for a long time, but we still remained friends. There was no dramatic breakup or anything like that. We just said, ‘Hey, let’s keep working together, keep making money, and keep doing what we love.’”
Unfortunately, after two successful seasons, Flip or Flop Nashville didn’t return for a third. Page moved on to Los Angeles and scored her own HGTV show, Fix My Flip. Meanwhile, DeRon stayed rooted in Nashville, continuing to build his legacy.
DeRon Jenkins Today: Still Building Dreams in Music City
For over two decades now, DeRon has called Nashville home. These days, he’s the mastermind behind DY Properties & Construction, where he serves as the master builder. His daughter, Dylan Jenkins, has joined forces with him, working as both a property manager and real estate agent for the company. It’s clear that family ties and shared passions run deep in the Jenkins household.
Though DeRon’s Instagram page is private, he’s been active on Facebook, sharing glimpses of his incredible construction projects. Fans often comment on his posts, eagerly asking if Flip or Flop Nashville might return for another season. As of now, HGTV hasn’t made any official announcements about the future of the show, but one thing’s for sure—DeRon continues to leave his mark on the Nashville real estate scene, one stunning renovation at a time.
