    "I’m living here alone with a housekeeper and my dog, a little cocker spaniel," Pat shared with Closer in August 2020. "Shadow is his name. It’s just me and my shadow, all alone and feeling blue. But I’m doing fine. Gosh, I miss her."

    Though the loss of Shirley was devastating, Pat found solace in the countless cherished memories they created together. "My greatest accomplishment is our marriage of 65 years in Hollywood, being an entertainer and raising my four amazing kids," Pat said. "We lived a wonderful life."
