What Does Mike Todryk Do for a Living?
Before diving headfirst into the world of coffee shops, Mike worked in medical sales during the early 2000s. But when opportunity knocked, he and Jenn seized it. In March 2019, the couple purchased a coffee shop in Allen, Texas, and rebranded it as Armor Coffee Co. If you’ve ever been to Allen, you know this place is a hidden gem. The locals absolutely love it, and Jenn and Mike couldn’t be happier with how things have turned out.
Of course, running a business isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. In March 2021, Jenn opened up on Instagram about the challenges of owning a business during the pandemic. “Let me tell you, opening a business right before a global pandemic is like signing up for an extreme roller coaster ride,” she joked. “But you know what? If we can survive that, we can survive anything. We’ve learned so much about responsibility and community. It’s not just about selling coffee—it’s about loving people, caring for them, and serving where we can.”

Jenn and Mike may have a 12-year age gap, but they’ve built an incredible life together. They’re proud parents to three amazing kids: Von, Berkley, and Vivienne. I’m so thankful for a husband who takes the time to ask our girls, ‘How did God make you?’ every night at bedtime. And the only acceptable answer? ‘From my head to my toes and everything in between, God made me exactly as I’m supposed to be.’ It’s moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to have him by my side.”
