“We all put on our big kid pants and pretend to be nice to each other in public… then go back to our corners of the universe and talk s–t about each other,” Mina admitted to her listeners. “My mom and I aren’t in a great place right now. My brother Tad and I aren’t in a great place either. My brother William and I are in a kind of nonexistent place. It’s complicated without even being complicated. We don’t really engage much, and the last time we did, it wasn’t super positive, and that was maybe a year ago.”

Though Mina has managed to mend fences with her brother William, the tension between her and Karen still lingers. In fact, Mina revealed that she didn’t invite her mom to her son Jack’s 5th birthday party. Now, that’s a bold move, and Mina knows it.
“You can still judge me for not inviting my mom to Jack’s birthday party,” Mina confessed in another episode. “You can dislike me for it. You can still think I’m the problem, which I’m for sure part of the problem.
