Life on Two Wheels: Marie Osmond’s New Adventure
Like many of us, Marie Osmond has been spending more time at home over the past months. But if you think she’s been sitting around watching TV, think again! This powerhouse has been embracing life with a new zest. In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, she shares, “I’ve always been someone who likes to keep moving, so I decided to buy a Harley Davidson motorcycle. And guess what? My husband Steve got one too!” She beams as she talks about their shared passion for riding together, taking peaceful walks, and cherishing time with their kids and grandkids. “We’ve been keeping busy and having a blast,” she adds with a laugh.
Faith as a Guiding Light
Life hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the legendary singer of “Paper Roses.” At 61, Marie has faced her share of challenges—divorce, career setbacks, and heart-wrenching losses. But instead of letting these hardships define her, she turned to her secret weapon: faith. In the latest issue of Closer, Marie opens up about how faith has shaped her perspective. “You could easily let bitterness take over, blaming everyone for what they’ve done to you,” she explains. “But faith teaches you something far more powerful: forgiveness. It’s about letting go of the past so it doesn’t ruin your future. When you do that, you find joy in moving forward.”
As the youngest daughter in a family of nine children raised in the Mormon faith, Marie learned early on to lean on her faith during tough times. “My mom was always preaching about having a positive attitude,” she recalls with a chuckle. “At first, I’d roll my eyes and say, ‘Mom, stop already!’ But looking back, I’m so grateful for her wisdom. Faith isn’t just about believing in something—it’s about maintaining hope and optimism no matter what life throws your way.”

Rebuilding After Challenges
Marie’s life has been filled with moments of triumph and trial. From her 1985 divorce from her current husband Stephen Craig (whom she remarried in 2011) to her split from Brian Blosil in 2007, she’s faced her share of relationship hurdles. Then there was the devastating house fire in 2005 that destroyed many cherished items, including photos and memorabilia from her late mother. “I lost so much that day,” she reflects. “But even in that loss, I saw an opportunity to reevaluate my life. That fire was like a wake-up call from God, reminding me to focus on what truly matters.”
Through it all, Marie has remained philosophical. “I believe that challenges are part of life—they’re how we grow and evolve,” she tells Closer. “Every experience, good or bad, shapes us into who we are meant to be.”
A New Chapter: Personal Growth and Creative Pursuits
Marie’s journey of self-discovery continues to inspire. Over the past 14 years as a Nutrisystem Ambassador, she’s regained control of her health, losing 50 pounds and keeping it off. “This program has completely transformed me—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally,” she gushes. “It’s been life-changing.”
On the creative front, she’s excited about her upcoming symphonic album, showcasing her versatility as an artist. “When people hear my new music, they might be surprised,” she says. “My voice has grown and matured over the years. I’m not just the girl who sang ‘Paper Roses’ anymore—I’ve learned to sing across multiple genres.”
