During a candid chat on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Kate, now 45, expressed her admiration for her mom and Kurt's long-lasting connection. “They’ve been together for over 40 years. They are truly the heart and soul of our family,” she said warmly. “As they grow older, their bond has only gotten stronger and more adorable. Kurt just worships my mom. His love for her is truly unmatched.”

Host Howard Stern pointed out that Kate and Goldie, who recently turned 78, are now neighbors, which further highlights the closeness of their relationship. Kate admitted to having a rather "codependent" bond with her mother. "Our family is wildly unique, in the best possible way," she added. Kate has also found her own happiness with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, whom she became engaged to in 2021. When asked about her wedding plans, Kate gave an interesting response during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I think it will happen soon,” she revealed. “I feel like we’re getting close to walking down that aisle.”
However, Kate confessed that the idea of planning a wedding ceremony isn’t exactly appealing to her. “Honestly, I just don’t want to deal with all the planning,” she admitted. “It feels like such a chore, and it’s incredibly stressful. Plus, weddings have become so expensive these days.”
