In December 2023, George gave fans a hilarious insight into what his kids think he does for a living. "They think all I do is play in the water," he revealed. It all started when he filmed "Midnight Sky" a few years ago. "I was shooting some scenes in a tank, and they came to visit. I was in my clothes, but I was in the tank, and they just assumed I swim for a living." He laughed, adding, "So whenever I say I'm going to work, they think I'm swimming!"

When it comes to raising their kids, George has nothing but praise for Amal. "She's like an Olympic athlete when she's around Ella and Alexander because she does everything so beautifully," he said. George credits Amal not only for her parenting skills but also for filling a void in his life. Speaking with GQ in 2020, he recalled how meeting Amal in 2013 changed everything for him. "I was like, 'I'm never getting married. I'm not gonna have kids. I'm gonna work, I've got great friends, my life is full, I'm doing well,'" he remembered. But then he met Amal, and everything shifted. "I was like, 'Oh, actually, this has been a huge empty space,'" he admitted.
When Ella and Alexander came into their lives, George's feelings deepened. "I'd never been in the position where someone else's life was infinitely more important to me than my own," he gushed.
