This all unfolded after a messy legal battle kicked off when Josh filed for divorce on July 15. He claimed their separation date was July 8, but Christina had other ideas. She also filed for divorce, setting their separation date a day earlier, on July 7. Now, here’s where it gets really interesting. In court documents filed on July 26, Christina accused Josh of taking a whopping $35,000 of her separate property rental income from her account without her permission, according to Us Weekly. This allegedly happened after he learned Christina wanted a divorce.

Christina didn’t mince words in the documents, saying, “I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.” It’s clear she’s not taking this lightly and wants accountability.

Christina, who owns multiple rental properties, claimed that Josh orchestrated the transaction behind her back through text messages with her property manager. She even provided alleged text messages between Josh and the property manager as evidence in her filing. Now, here’s the kicker—she pointed out that the date of the transaction coincides with the separation date Josh claims. “The fact that this is the same date he now alleges to be our date of separation, even though it is actually July 07, 2024, makes it clear why he chose the next day,” she said in the filing. “It makes me wonder what else I am not aware of as it relates to his financial situation, which is why I am having a full forensic accounting performed for the entire term of our marriage.”

Christina didn’t stop there. She took to Instagram again after the divorce filing to share her thoughts with followers. In a statement posted on July 25, she wrote, “Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of ‘how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch.’ Meanwhile, I’m over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be.”
