In a candid moment, Christina Hall has decided to speak out about the increasingly complicated situation surrounding her divorce from Josh Hall. Fans of the Flip or Flop star were surprised when news of their split broke earlier this month. Christina took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 25, to share her thoughts and feelings just a week after the initial announcement.
“I’ve been waiting for the usual PR speech about how blindsided I was or how I’m focusing on healing at some ranch,” Christina wrote in her Instagram Stories. “But here’s the thing—I’m not as quiet or as nice as I used to be. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build the life I have for myself and my children. Anyone who tries to take what they haven’t earned should feel ashamed.”
She went on to explain how challenging it can be to deal with someone whose ego gets in the way of their ability to see the bigger picture. “An insecure man with a big ego might try to bring you down, but I’m still rising,” she said, echoing the sentiment of Maya Angelou’s famous poem. Christina, now 41, concluded her statement by reminding everyone that divorces don’t happen overnight. “There’s always a breaking point, and this one hits close to home,” she added.

Legal Details Emerge
Josh Hall, 43, officially filed for divorce on July 15, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation. According to the legal documents, Josh listed July 8 as their official separation date, while Christina noted July 7 in her own filing. Interestingly, Josh mentioned October 6, 2021, as their wedding date, which aligns with public records.
In the paperwork, Josh requested spousal support and asked for an equal division of their marital assets, including their home in Newport Beach, California, and rights to any TV series they collaborated on during their marriage. It’s worth noting that Christina and Josh did not have any children together during their marriage. However, Christina is already a mom to Taylor and Brayden from her previous marriage to Tarek El Moussa, and she also shares a son named Hudson with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
Financial Accusations Surface

Just after Christina accused Josh of taking $35,000 from her account without permission, she elaborated further in legal documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “Josh managed to transfer over $35,000 of my separate rental income into his account without my knowledge,” she stated. “I’m asking for an explanation and for him to return the funds. These monies are specifically earmarked for paying loans, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for those rental properties.”
According to Christina, she owns rental properties in both Franklin, Tennessee, and Nashville. She claims that Josh orchestrated the transaction by texting their property manager behind her back. To back up her claims, she included screenshots of the alleged text messages in the filing.
Social Media Reactions
Josh ended his brief social media hiatus on Thursday, sharing a photo on his Instagram Stories featuring the prayer hands emoji. In the image, his back was turned to the camera. Not long after, Christina posted a selfie with the same prayer hands emoji as her caption, perhaps signaling a moment of reflection or peace amidst the chaos.
