I’ve shown up for everything I’ve done, always hoping that someday, I’d get the chance to shine. And now, here I am, shining brighter than ever.”

Jamie isn’t just focused on her own success; she’s also passionate about lifting others up, particularly women in the industry. When she couldn’t take on the lead role in The Sticky due to scheduling conflicts, she personally reached out to actress Margo Martindale to offer her the part of maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry. “Jamie is sharp, thoughtful, and incredibly supportive,” Margo gushes. “When she joined the show, she brought her A-game. She’s not just a great actress—she’s a great collaborator.”
Though Jamie doesn’t appear until episode 5 of The Sticky, her presence is undeniable. “Let’s be honest,” she quips, “I didn’t fly all the way to Montreal in the freezing cold just to sit around and do nothing. I was there to make an impact, to bring some fire to the screen. If you’re going to travel that far, you better show up with some spirit!”
Under her production company, Comet Pictures, Jamie is also producing Scarpetta, a Prime Video series based on Patricia Cornwell's best-selling novels about a Virginia medical examiner. The role will be played by Nicole Kidman, with Jamie herself co-starring. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s currently in talks to play the beloved Jessica Fletcher in a Murder, She Wrote movie, paying homage to the iconic Angela Lansbury TV series.

Jamie Lee Curtis is thriving in what she calls the most “creative time” of her life. Beyond her acting career, she’s also the author of nearly a dozen children’s books. “Life is full of lessons, and if you’re lucky enough to learn from them, you can pass that wisdom on to the next generation,” she says. “As an artist, I try to channel those experiences into my work, whether it’s on screen or on the page.”
She’s deeply appreciative of how far she’s come in terms of self-acceptance. “I’ve learned to embrace who I am, inside and out. I own my thoughts, my feelings, and my appearance. That’s what maturity looks like to me,” Jamie reflects. “I speak my truth, but I try to do so kindly. This approach has helped me grow into the person I want to be as I get older.”
Jamie describes herself as “pro-aging” and encourages others, especially her daughters Annie, 38, and Ruby, 28, to adopt the same mindset. She warns against the false promises of plastic surgery, sharing her own experiences with Botox, which she says left her looking “unnatural and plastic.” “Trust me, I’ve been there. It doesn’t work. Age is a gift, not something to fight against,” she advises.

Her current outlook is one of acceptance and contentment. “At this stage in my life, my goal is simple: relax and remind myself that I’m enough. This moment right now? It’s perfect just the way it is,” Jamie concludes with a smile.
