"I have fruit trees in my orchard—one for each of my grandchildren. There's an apple, peach, nectarine, pear, and cherry tree. When they visit, they love checking on their trees," he shares with a smile. For Donny, gardening is more than a hobby; it's a way to reconnect with nature. "When I'm stressed or frustrated, I step outside, spend an hour in the garden, and let the world melt away. Those waterfalls I built in my backyard? They transport me to paradise."
A New Chapter in Vegas
Donny isn't just looking back; he's also preparing for what's next. On August 31, he'll take the stage at Harrah's Las Vegas with a brand-new solo headlining show. This isn't just another gig; it's a culmination of a lifetime of experiences. "I've had three distinct careers: with the Osmond Brothers, as Donny & Marie, and now solo," he explains. "This is a dream I've held since I was 12 years old. To headline my own show on the Strip is a lot of pressure, but I've been preparing for this my whole life."
