While the network has already named Craig Melvin as Hoda’s replacement for the early morning hours, the question remains: who will take over the fourth hour of Today With Hoda & Jenna? This segment, which has become a staple for viewers, will now be renamed Today With Jenna & Friends, featuring guest co-hosts starting January 13.

Several celebrities have already expressed interest in taking Hoda’s place, including Saturday Night Live’s Mikey Day and Law & Order: SVU’s Mariska Hargitay. Mariska, who shares a special bond with Hoda, visited the show on October 1 just days after Hoda announced her departure. Her heartfelt words captured the essence of their friendship and admiration for one another.

While attending the American Museum of Natural History Gala in NYC on December 5, Mikey admitted he didn’t know about Hoda’s departure until his appearance on the show. “I found out on the air,” he told Closer Weekly. “But I would absolutely go there and fill in anytime they need someone. It would be fun because those ladies are great.”
