Picture this: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard teaming up for their very own TV show. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, it might just happen! During the Winter Television Critics Association’s Press Tour, the talented actress teased the possibility of a joint project with her husband. While no promises were made, Kristen, who stars in Apple TV+’s animated series Central Park, revealed that the couple is actively brainstorming some ideas for a potential onscreen collaboration.
Could Kristen and Dax Be the Next Big TV Duo?
When asked by reporters, including Closer Weekly, if she and Dax would ever appear together in a production, Kristen didn’t hesitate. “Oh always, always, always, always, always,” the 39-year-old said with a smile. She went on to explain, “We’re discussing it right now, there’s an idea in the works that may or may not come to fruition.”
Why Perfection Matters
Kristen made it clear that any project they take on together has to be nearly flawless. “Here’s the thing … you’ve got to ensure it’s a good idea because, honestly, we get offered so many things,” she explained. “Like, ‘Would you guys host this whatever? Would you guys do this sitcom together?’ But we don’t just want to do it for the sake of doing it. We want it to be meaningful, entertaining, and something we’re proud of,” she continued. “We spend a lot of time thinking about what the right idea would be.”

Family Life Comes First
For Kristen and Dax, who tied the knot in 2013 and share daughters Lincoln, 6, and Delta, 5, family always comes first. “Are we saying something with it? Will we have fun with it? Will the hours be manageable for our family life?” Kristen reasoned. “There are so many variables to consider, which is why it does take a bit of time. But yes, I would work with him in a heartbeat.”
While Kristen and Dax are one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, their kids aren’t as dazzled by their famous parents. After teasing the possibility of a new project, the Frozen star joked about what her daughters think of her and Dax’s celebrity status. “Am I cool with my kids? No. Do I think I’m cool? One hundred percent,” she joked with Closer. “Do I tell them I’m cool all the time? Absolutely.” Despite her confidence, Kristen admitted her daughters aren’t convinced. “They don’t. No, they don’t think I’m cool. And I can tell because every time I try to pick out an outfit for them, they just look at me with disgust,” she laughed.

Kristen joked that her daughters, Lincoln and Delta, are so unimpressed that they “don’t ever want to know the secrets of Frozen, which absolutely horrifies me,” she said with a laugh. “I know, it’s really sad. But hey, it’s in your DNA to reject your parents, so it’s all good.”
