The most touching part of this journey into the past was Mark’s reaction. “So Mark was home, and we were watching these movies together,” Kelly recounted. “He reached over and grabbed my hand and said, ‘We really built a life together.’” The sincerity of this moment wasn’t lost on Kelly, who found herself moved to tears. “And you know, when you cry in front of your kids, it kind of terrifies them. They’re just not sure why,” Kelly joked, recalling how her children were concerned. “I had to explain, ‘No, these are just tears of joy. These aren’t tears of anger or rage.’”

For Kelly, this moment was deeply emotional, not just because of the memories but because of Mark’s simple yet profound gesture. “He’s got beautiful hands, and I do fixate on them,” she admitted with a smile. “But when he reached over and touched me with his hand on mine, it was such a tender moment.
