Things are about to get busy for Kathie Lee Gifford as her two children, Cassidy and Cody, are tying the knot soon. With weddings on the horizon, it's time for some serious dress shopping. At 66, Kathie Lee is embracing this exciting phase of life with open arms and a lot of enthusiasm.
Heading Out for Wedding Dress Shopping
The former Today show host recently attended the Movieguide Awards Gala, where she opened up about her daughter Cassidy’s upcoming nuptials. Cassidy, 26, is set to walk down the aisle in June, and Kathie Lee is already planning a fun day out to find the perfect wedding gown. "Next month I’m going out, we’re going out to shoot something here," Kathie Lee told Closer Weekly and other reporters. "I’ll be back in two weeks, and we’ve got the date to go," she added, referring to the mother-daughter dress shopping adventure.
A Size Zero Makes Things Easier
When it comes to finding the right dress for Cassidy, Kathie Lee seems confident. "You know, she’s a size zero, a perfect zero, so it’s not gonna take six months to make her dress!" she joked. Despite the time crunch, the mother-daughter duo is ready to enjoy the experience. "We just want to go through the experience of sipping champagne while she tries on wedding dresses," Kathie Lee said. Of course, being the proud mom that she is, Kathie Lee added with a laugh, "Knowing her, she’s probably already got it in the closet right now!"

Double the Weddings, Double the Fun
It’s not just Cassidy who’s walking down the aisle this year. Her brother Cody, 29, will also be getting married in 2020. Kathie Lee joked about the financial aspect of it all, saying, "Let’s just put it this way, I’m writing an awful lot of checks for my daughter! Thank goodness I don’t have to pay for Cody’s too!" Both children are from her marriage to the late Frank Gifford, and Kathie Lee couldn’t be prouder of the milestones they’re achieving.
