This revelation came after she admitted that her relationship with her mom, Karen E. Laine, and her brother, Tad Starsiak, is currently strained. She described their family dynamic as “challenging.”

I’ve talked to your mom just like briefly when everything kind of ended, but no, I think everyone just kind of needs space and a little bit of time, and healing.”
Mina agreed, saying that after a show like Good Bones, it’s normal for everyone to need some time to decompress. “It’s like a breakup,” she said. “It’s like a divorce.”
