It turns out, Hoda and Joel's relationship has been one for the ages. The beloved Today co-host, who's 55 and radiating happiness, sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, 62, to spill the tea. "We’ve been together for six years, and we’ve always talked about getting married," she revealed, her voice filled with warmth. "But you know, we figured we'd do it later. Like, someday. Eventually. We’ve got two kids to think about, after all!"
The Proposal: A Night to Remember
But it seems Joel, who's 61, had other plans brewing. “One day, we were at the beach, just hanging out. And guess what? We had tequila and churros. I mean, I was dipping my fingers into the sauce," Hoda joked, sending the audience into fits of laughter. “And then, Joel started giving one of his little speeches about love. You know, the kind where he goes deep and heartfelt.”

Now, Hoda explained to Ellen that while Joel’s speeches aren't exactly rare, this one felt different. "He said, 'I’d like to say something.' It was just the two of us, and he started talking. I looked at him, thinking, 'Oh my god, this is going somewhere special.’”

And then it happened. “He literally kicked the seat out from under him and dropped down on one knee!” Hoda gushed, her eyes lighting up as the studio audience erupted into cheers and applause. “I didn’t know I could be shocked, and I didn’t think I could love him more... but I did, right in that moment.
